Established in Phoenicia June 2010, The Foundation is a 501c3 public foundation for charitable and educational  tax excempts purposes.

 The Mission of the Foundation is To promote the human voice as an instrument of peace, healing and artistic expression, by presenting world class performances of opera, songs, baroque and choral music, and the vocal arts of traditional cultural destinationfor people from our local communities , the Hudson Valley, New York City and beyond. To establish Phoenicia as an important cultural destination and become a vital institution,  guiding the next generation of talents, promoting seasonned artists as well as local performers.

The Phoenicia International Festival of The voice was, the  first  program  created under the umbrella of the foundation.

The Catskills Academy of Performing Arts is the second and most recent program, focusing of course on Education in the performing arts.

 Every year, the Foundation improves,  and hope to further add additional programs as the foundation continues to work within our primary purposes, diven by our primary mission.Finally, The Foundation hope to establish itself as an important cultural institution in the North East, serve as a significant player in the Ulster County, NY economy by
having a positive effect on local businesses, create jobs, and build a community spirit.
