​FofV was in 2010 a 3 day festival. In 2011, 2012 and 2013 it expanded to a 4 day celebration and for its 5th anniversary it is now a 5 day festival. 2019, 10 years later we  presents extravagant programming. Concerts, recitals, opera , poetry, storytelling, lectures, workshops, masterclasses and original theatrical presentations are on the summer roster. Programming features internationally acclaimed professional performers and popular local community performers.The charming hamlet of Phoenicia is transformed during these festival days. Twenty one plus performances are held in 8 venues all within walking distance of each other. Only two hours from the “Big Apple” the festival and the charm of the Hamlet of Phoenicia quickly became an attractive destination for New York City’s urbanites..
